November already! Where has the year gone? We hope you've had a great year and are looking forward to a break over the Christmas period. MOA will be taking a break too, but not just yet, so keep reading to see what is still in store for you this year.

Past Events

NZBCF Fundraiser - 11 October

MOA hosted a fundraising "Pink Day" for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation on Friday 11 October. There were market stalls and prize raffle, food, fun, and special pink cocktails in the MOA bar. Thanks to the generosity of everybody who attended, we raised an incredible $700.40 in total for this excellent cause. Well done to all concerned!

Bar News

MOA bar open on 14 November

Due to the public holiday on Friday 15 November, the MOA bar will not be open on that night. However we are happy to announce that the bar and social rooms will be open on Thursday 14 November instead. Same time, same place, different night of the week. Come down and kick off your long weekend by having a few bevvies with your MOA mates!

Upcoming Events

Christmas Picnic - Sunday 24 November

The MOA Christmas Picnic will take place on the last Sunday in November, at Ourahuia Domain (venue if wet: Templeton Hall) from 10am to 4pm. This is always a great day out for MOA members and their families, and includes:

  • colouring competition and family games
  • a visit from Santa with presents for the little ‘uns
  • BBQ food and beverages (with kid-friendly and grownup-friendly options)

It's free to MOA members and their partners and dependent children, and $15 per person for everybody else (includes a present from Santa for the under-13s). All welcome provided your group has at least one paid-up MOA member.
